Weather Shift
This was taken just two hours later on East Beach on the marsh side and the temperature had dropped dramatically and it felt to be about 55°F! A large set of rain clouds had moved in and the wind had really picked up with them. I could feel the very cool moisture blowing in with the wind. By the time I launched the wind really intensified and steep white caps formed very quickly. I was very glad I had brought my wetsuit! I got a few lapfulls of water on the crossing but the wind changed from cool to cold very fast!! In the photo you can see the rain coming down over the mainland.

85 Degrees and Sunny
This was taken at 3:38pm on East Beach in the lee of the tree line. The sun was shining and there was no wind so out here it felt like 85°F! Not bad for March!

Beaver Stump
There has to be at least one Beaver at Point Pelee! My first impression was that it had been cut down with a hatchet but upon closer inspection I could see that it was the work of a Beaver.
